The
Oak Ridge Academy of Dance Weekend Extravaganza is a weekend of varied dance
performances filled with excitement, laughter, and emotion. The Academy’s
Weekend Spectacular comprises three separate performances. The Morning Revue is
a delightful performance with the frolics of the preschool dancers and the
captivating numbers of the more experienced advanced dancers, all sharing their
talents for audience members to enjoy. Moving into the Afternoon Extravaganza
the older dancers excite the audience with leaps, turns and tumbling! The
Contemporary Dance Ensemble Spring Concert is the most advanced and skilled
performance where all the Academy’s competitive teams are showcased with their
award winning numbers. The weekend is filled with excitement where
artistry and athleticism meet. Enjoy the passionate art of dance with
performances in classical ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and hip hop. Come
and join us for a much needed and most entertaining weekend of joy and
delight.

Walk-through metal detectors are now in place and operational at all entrances. Please allow extra time to enter the building. Be prepared to remove all items such as cell phones and keys from your pockets before passing through the metal detectors. We encourage you to bring only necessary items with you in order to reduce your time entering the building.
