Wendell Horner has been with the Knoxville Civic Auditorium-Coliseum since 2015. He previously worked for Kellogg’s and PepsiCo in all aspects of industrial, facility, and personnel management.
As Security Manager, Horner oversees all security personnel, parking attendants, and event staff. He is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all employees, clients, guest, and event participants while on property. He also coordinates the efforts of security personnel on non-event days to patrol all areas of the property.
Horner graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1980 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He is a member of Stock Creek Baptist Church and volunteers his time with the Knoxville Golden Gloves Charities as a referee, judge, and board member.
