As operations manager, McLemore will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Auditorium and Coliseum, including event setup, facility changeover and regular facility maintenance. He is dedicated to making sure the building is clean, comfortable, well-maintained and safe for clients and patrons.
McLemore started with SMG in 2015 as an operations supervisor at the Tucson Convention Center in Tuscon, Arizona. McLemore transferred to become operations manager of the Knoxville Civic Auditorium and Coliseum in February of this year.
Prior to joining SMG, McLemore worked in facility operations with Sporting Kansas City, a professional soccer club in Kansas City, Missouri.
Originally from Knoxville, McLemore is a graduate of South-Doyle High School. Before moving to Arizona, McLemore worked with the Knoxville Ice Bears as an intern and served as the head soccer coach for South Doyle High School.
McLemore holds a bachelor’s degree in sports management from the University of Tennessee and a master’s degree in kinesiology and sport studies from East Tennessee State University.
